Not everyone knows that there is a real 'pen' (Read Stylus) for IPAD as it has a capacitive touch screen, the capacitive characteristic of the display is more responsive to the touch with your fingers but not to support other than gross pens (fine tip).

PS: Even the negative terminal of a AA battery is recognized by the capacitive screen.
